Game Republic Student Showcase returns

The Game Republic Student Showcase will return on Tuesday, May 25 at the University of Huddersfield - an amazing opportunity for final-year and postgraduate Yorkshire students to showcase their work to the biggest developers in the region.
Prizes are awarded in four categories: Game Design, Game Technology, Game Art and Best Team - the latter also providing a work placement for the winning team, which in 2009 resulted in placements, then full-time employment at Rockstar in Leeds for two University of Huddersfield graduates.
The 2010 event will also introduce a new category - The Merit Award - for a team or individual that has demonstrated particularly skill and expertise in any field of games development.
