BCS The Graduate 2012
techmesh is pleased to support BCS The Graduate 2012

An opportunity for IT students to develop and practice interview skills.
'The Graduate', backed by BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT and industry partners, is an event that gives IT students and recent graduates experience with demonstrating soft skills in a mock graduate recruitment process.
All applicants receive feedback on their initial applications and the chance to win an Apple iPad 2, a training course and other prizes.
Yorkshire Water is a founding partner of the event, as is techmesh. Other partners include KPMG, University of Leeds, Leeds Metropolitan University, Graduates Yorkshire, GradCore and Capgemini.
The first stage of the event is a competency-based application form, based on partners' own graduate recruitment processes. Around 30 of the most successful applicants who make it to the second round will go through interviews, group exercises and psychometric tests in a high-stress environment. Finally, they will present to the panel, a selected group of IT professionals and business leaders from industry.
The deadline for applications is now over (30 January 2012). The final is the 19th March 2012 at Esholt Hall, in West Yorkshire.
