Business Link: Are You Ready to Export?

14th April 2011 - Rose Bowl, Leeds
Learn more about exporting, what's involved and if you're ready for overseas markets
There’s never been a better time to look at exporting. The growth from the recent recession is predicted to be slow. While some economies are still struggling, many developed economies are growing faster that the UK and growth continues at a pace in many developing countries. The relative low value of Sterling against most of the world’s major currencies is helping the competitiveness of UK products and services across the world.
This workshop will review the steps you need to take to consider exporting. It will challenge your perceptions of exporting and outline both the benefits and potential pitfalls – as well as provide you the opportunity to review your business and its ability to take advantage of export markets – outlining the resources and commitment required. Further information on the resources available to help companies put together a successful export strategy and potential funding towards export marketing activity will be made available.
The workshop has been developed by South Yorkshire International Trade Centre in conjunction with UK Trade and Investment, the UK government organisation that helps UK based exporters succeed globally.
