A training and networking event for creative professionals to develop their business / professional practice. The theme of the day is cross arts partnership working for increased opportunities and will involve key speakers, workshops, marketing support and opportunities for creatives in the region.
Who: Creative professionals from all artforms / disciplines based in North Yorkshire.

Further Information
Bill Thompson is an international sound artist and composer who has performed extensively throughout the UK and abroad. His work involves the combination of found objects, field recordings, repurposed live electronics, and digital media to create evolving sonic structures for sound installations and live performance.
Bill will be talking about Interdisciplinary working, Networking, and the Necessity of Self-Marketing.
He’ll discuss the basics of self-marketing and effective networking as well as highlighting the benefits of interdisciplinary working and the importance of adaptation to new contexts as an arts practitioner and creative professional.

Artworks Creative Communities have been delivering innovative projects that use creativity as a force for change. Working with professional artists and in partnership with communities, organisations and businesses across all sectors, they develop and deliver effective projects that use participation in the arts as a tool to inspire, connect and engage.
Artworks will be running a Goal Setting Workshop, using fun and simple techniques to creatively visualise a future goal and identify steps towards achieving it.
