A new £5m funding competition to help organisations create the next wave of metadata production tools has been announced by the Technology Strategy Board and we will be running a series of briefings during November and December to help people get involved

 

They have also kicked-off their Intellectual Property and Open Source Beacon project. Managing, exploiting and protecting, or sharing, IP is one of the biggest issues facing the creative industries today and they will be examining how the future landscape looks with leading industry experts.
