An Opportunity to Influence Government Policy on Business Support

23rd September 2010 - West One, Wellington Street, Leeds, LS1 1BA
The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) is currently reviewing its approach to business support

BIS have commissioned evaluation consultants SQW Ltd to undertake quantitative and qualitative research with businesses across England to inform this review. As part of the research, they are undertaking a series of focus groups to find out what businesses think about:

• The information, advice and support currently available (from both private and public sectors)
• What the Government’s role should be in this area, and businesses’ requirements for publicly-funded information, advice and support.

SQW is undertaking two focus groups (a breakfast session and a lunchtime session) in the centre of Leeds on Thursday 23 September 2010, and would like to invite you to participate in one of these. Each session will last no more than two hours.

Date: Thursday 23 September
Venue: WestOne, Wellington Street, Leeds, LS1 1BA
Time: 8.00am – 10.00am or 11.30am – 1.30pm

This is an opportunity for your business to help influence Government policy. Everyone’s views will be taken into account.

If you would be interested in participating, please email to E leedsgroup@sqw.co.uk, supplying your name and telephone number, and an indication of the size of your business in terms of number of employees. The researchers will then get in touch.

If you have any queries about this research, then please don’t hesitate to contact:
