Workshop and Exhibition on high speed network monitoring for security and performance

University of Bradford and MarQuest Ltd are hosting a one day workshop and exhibition on high speed network monitoring for security and perfomance on July 1st

 

This free event is the first of its kind in the UK and is expected to be o fconsiderable interest to network engineers and managers. The workshop will be presented by international industry leaders and academic experts including:-


• Sharon Besser–Vice President of Technology at Net Optics, Inc.
• Chris Bloom -Principal Software Engineer / Developer Evangelist at WildPackets
• Chris Devereux –Senior Technical Architect at Motorola
• Prof DemetresKouvatsos-Head of NetPEN, IRI, University of Bradford

 

The topics covered will concentrate on the challenges of monitoring and analysing data from networks which transport gigabit data streams. This will include the following areas:-


• Developing an effective monitoring infrastructure
• Minimising analysis tool costs
• Techniques for network forensics
• Performance Related Security in High Speed Networks
• Monitoring security in high speed wireless infrastructure

 

The event runs from 9:30am to 4:30pm and will include free lunch and refreshments. 

 

Registration is mandatory for attendance and is FREE, registration deadline 23 June 2010.
