Helen Silverman - Membership Development Manager

Helen’s career started in Hotel and Catering following completion of a five year apprenticeship, where she trained as a pastry chef. Helen then progressed into front office management working for an American company - Marriott International. In order to pursue a career in IT, Helen joined Parity Training as sales manager and stayed until its demise in 2010.
Marian Smith - Marketing & Events Manager
Marian started her career in marketing in the tourism sector, first with Thistle and Mount Charlotte Hotels followed by 6 years with Royal Armouries International. Marian later worked as an Events Manager for English Partnerships before joining Tuner & Townsend plc, as Regional Marketing Manager for Yorkshire and the North West.
Having worked freelance for a number of years, Marian joined techmesh to develop and grow the membership through marketing, planning and event management.
Marian is a BA (Hons) Business Studies graduate and a MCIM Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
